Reporting Analyst & Systems Support

We have an excellent opportunity to join a well- established Swindon Company who employs over 100 local personnel. 

The position combines two really important functions.  The first is the management of reporting and the production and analysis of reporting using SAP  on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.  You will need to be confident and questioning in order to deliver factual reporting that will be read at Board level.

The other part of the role will be to provide internal support on all IT systems.  Therefore, an excellent knowledge of both software and hardware is required for this position along with excellent customer liaison skills and an abundance of enthusiasm and self- motivation!

Duties will include:

Reporting:

The management and coordination of the production and delivery of reports for the business and stakeholders which will be done daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.  Flexibility will be required in terms of hours worked as Month end may require late finish in order to pull the accurate reporting together.

Quality checking of all reports ensuring accuracy and consistency before being distributed to the relevant parties.

The successful candidate will also be for the responsible for the performance of the hardware and software systems of the company.  Overall the position will offer a challenging and fast moving opportunity providing an excellent experience within Systems and Management Information.  The successful candidate will know how to prioritise their work with a team and on their own. They will have to be able to cope with pressure and deadlines.

Systems Support


  • The provision of user support by phone and face to face
  • Data anlaysis and sign-off of new installations, repair works and daily maintenance
  • Updates for both hardware and software
  • Carrying out back -ups as appropriate
  • Ensure that systems are being used in the correct manner
  • Provision of help desk support.

To carry out this role you will need


  • An excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
  • A good working knowledge of SAP

    • A good knowledge of hardware & software requirements
    • Knowledge of communications systems
    • Excellent application and technical knowledge with a proven ability to learn new and complex software applications
    • Self-motivated
    • Previous working knowledge of the production of financial and management reporting.
