Job Description

We are proud to be supporting this highly reputable Solicitors located in Reading. Offering a highly competitive salary with free parking, the position offers alot of variety and the opportunity to work in a strong team environment. Using your Legal Cashier skills, this position will pull upon this experience and also include the day to day office management.  

This position offers the sucessful candidate: 

A rewarding and fulfilling working environment, including benefits such as city centre parking and 9am – 5.15pm work times.

Salary: £35,000 -37,000, 28 days holiday, competitive pension scheme and etc.

The role will include:

-       Undertaking reconciliations of our client accounts, ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules

-       Posting client and office account transactions including dealing with disbursements

-       Maintenance of the sales and purchase ledgers including liaison with suppliers

-       Completing regular bank reconciliations

-       Raising bills throughout the month as required

-       Credit control

-       Completing regular WIP reviews with the fee earners

-       Attending Partners meetings to take minutes

-       The day to day management of the office incuding being responsible for the facilities, ordering, staffing and ensuring the Marketing

-       Ensuring that the office is running smoothly and all processes and procedures are adhered to

-       Supporting the firm with marketing activities and much more!

Ideal candidate will:

-       Be Qualified Legal Cashier (or have extensive legal cashiering experience)

-       Have experience of preparing client account reconciliations that conform to the requirements of the SRA (Essential)

-       Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

-       Have experience of DPS Cashier case management software (Ideal)

-       Ideally have some office management/practice management experience

-       Have excellent inter-personal skills, working collaboratively with other members of the firm.

-       Demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
