Job Description

Experienced Financial MI Analyst - FPC Qualified/PT Qualified 

(Temporary - 6 months plus)

 

We have an urgent and outstanding opportunity to join a market leader within the financial arena

For this position, the successful candidate will be Part or Fully Qualified FPC with a comprehensive knowledge of the financial regulations

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, the role will call for your expertise to carry out the following Key accountabilities:

The genertation, analysis and presentation of management information to facilitate operational decision making

The delivery of management information to stakeholders within the Organisation.

You will:


  • Assist the Head of Department  in identifying and mitigating emerging risks, including monitoring of progress
  • Challenge traditional thinking & consider issues in their broadest context identifying all possible implications
  • Provide relevant, timely, robust management information
  • Translate the priorities of the business into practical day to day issues and actions that can be readily understood by the team.
  • Suggest improvements to working practices and processes

 

The role objectives are:


  • To generate, analyse and present information for the Department and to provide relevant, accurate and timely management information
  • To identify information needs and provide senior management with a visible means to monitor and control operations through regular updates, schedules and dashboard presentations
  • To continually improve the presentation of management information
  • To provide effective trend analysis to highlight risks to the Company's Business Proposition.  This includes ongoing maintenance of the product risk selection model and adviser watchlist.
  • To produce periodic reports for Head of Department and other business areas

To cary out this role you will need the following skills and experience:


  • FPC qualified/part qualified
  • Previous business assessment experience would be useful.
  • Will be expected to pass the firm specific Data Protection and Financial Crime Tests.
  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Analyst role
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a financial service organisation.
