Permanent HR Manager role in Plymouth, £30K+ DOE
Wise Employmentare currently recruiting for a HR Manager for a growing, brand, quality, production company based in the Plymouth area to oversee all HR processes.
What your day will look like:
You will be the go-to person for all employee-related, talent experience issues. You will be responsible for managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations, job designs, performance management, talent management and training and development.
This will be a hands on role and will require you to support the management of the overall HR operations and delivering strategic objectives.
You will promote and encourage a continued positive, happy and productive workplace where all employees work to the established mission and objectives.
Key roles required:
You will manage the recruitment and selection process which may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms. You will also carry out interviews and new starter inductions and advise on recruitment and selection strategies.
You will support line managers with terms and conditions of employment and share best practice policies with them. You will be responsible for legal compliance throughout human resource management.
You will process payroll and administer payroll records as well as keeping HR policies up to date with changes in legislation.
Qualifications and experience required:
In order to be successful you will need a CIPD qualification and educated to degree level is desirable or have an MBA in HR Management as an alternative.
You will also need 1-2 years experience within an on-site HR role
You will have excellent communication skills, be approachable and have a high level of integrity along with an in-depth knowledge of work place law and HR best practices.
The position is full time permanent working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
The Salary is £30K+ depending on experience. This role also offers free parking and 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
