Statutory Reporting Manager required for a 6-month contract in Aberdeen.
Wise Employment have an excellent 6-month contract role which is office based in Aberdeen with some travel required on an ad-hoc basis to other Scotland and also UK sites.
This will be working 37.5 hours per week which is 08.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 08.30 - 3.45pm on a Friday. The pay rate for this role is £23.07 - £28.46 per hour (£45K - £55.5K)
The role is to oversee and lead on the reporting for the financial audit. This is a large and complex audit, dealing with multiple sites, ledgers and legal entities. You will therefore, need to have proven experience of having worked with large corporate audits, or have come from an auditing background.
You will need to have working knowledge of Caseware, JD Edwards and Oracle software platforms. Advanced Excel experience would also be an essential requirement for this role.
This role will involve budget and forecasts preparation, as well as developing internal control policies. You will be responsible for maximising return on financial assets by the established financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems with the country and aligning key areas with global initiatives. This is a director level role working alongside the leadership team of the UK business units and you will not only be an exceptional accountant, hands on with company finances but be commercially aware, advising on the best financial path for the business.
You will be responsible for leading and developing the finance team bringing the team members up to date with current methods. You will also provide analysis and insight into the business trends.
You will have either; CIMA/ACCA/ICAS/ICAEW qualified.
In order to be successful in your application for this role, you will have working knowledge within a financial/accounting environment, previous experience in an engineering and /or manufacturing environment.
You have to be able to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP rules and regulations. You will also need to be able to create and track financial / business metrics.
You will have strong financial analysis, financial reporting and ERP Systems knowledge.
